The Rain Drain opening port is designed primarily for installation where cabin sides have excessive angles and other ports would collect rain and spray. These ports have all the features of Beckson's patented ports, with the addition of the patented Rain Drain. The Rain Drain port, cut at 5/8", will drain while tipped up to 45° degrees. Unlike others, Beckson Rain Drain Ports have open drains which resist clogging and are easy to clean. Other drain windows retain up to one- third of a cup of water in each window when closed. Opening them can soak you and the boat. Where greater mounting angles exist, insist on Beckson Rain Drain ports for superior service.
Designed with drain molded on inside of spigot. Promotes drainage without angle cuts in hull. Allow for thru-bolting. Seats tightly against gasket and lens omitting internal water retention ledge. No watter fall when opening after a rain. Ideal for mounting where installation is within 15 degrees of vertical or where no drain is necessary. All models have white frame and clear lens.
