Pettit 2018 Clear Sealer is a phenolic resin based sealer used for sealing bare wood surfaces. Penetrates grain of soft, hard and plywoods to form a moisture barrier, aids in adhesion and minimizes topcoat absorption. Sand lightly prior to application of varnish or undercoaters. Not for use on oily woods.
Recommended for use on brand new un-treated wood. Seals grain to weatherproof wood, plus eliminates excessive paint soak.
