Correct control cable measuring guide:
New Outbord Installations: Measure from control along unobstructed cable
route to center of outboard. Add for fee to to allow for loop which provides
unrestricted engine movement. Round up to next whole foot and order the required
length.
New I/O Installations: Measure from control along unobstructed cable route to
shift and/or throttle connection point. Round up to next whole foot and order
the required length.
Replacement of existing cables: Measure from tip to tip this is the length
you would need to order. If your current cable measures to an exact full foot
length you do not need to round up.
