Designed to meet the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association Booklet No. 302, Section No.323 on vent pipe outlets. Also meets the requiements of the USCG safety standards of January 31, 1977 for gasoloine fuel systems. The 1/2" NPT female thread is off center to create a water baffle.
