Compact Front Reading 3-3/4" apparent card diameter. This model is built with no-spin front reading card with patented NavaGrid which floats both lubber's line and bearing lines over the compass card. Extra bearing lines at 45 deg. from the course references when the helmsman is not directly behind the compass. Graduated in 5 deg. intervals, and shaped to provide the best magnification and clarity. Saturn compasses are equipped with recessed compensators to prevent accidental movement once the compass has been compensated for deviation. Saturn compasses have adjustable hoods, a standard clear bulb and a red filter mounted inside the hood for a glare-free night illumination.
