Specifications:
The actuator assembly is the piston-like strong arm that pushes the tab into position. The body of the actuator is made of a sophisticated plastic resin. The upper hinge is made of nylon. In actual use it bends approximately 5° but the upper hinge can bend significantly greater than conditions would ever demand. Hydraulic fluid flows into the actuator through a concealed hole in the upper hinge thus eliminating external hoses subject to damage by the elements. This actuator is flexible but hearty enough to withstand the demands of offshore use. The optional External Line Actuator (A1101EX) is used when the inside of the transom is inaccessible due to a fuel tank, flotation, etc. Comes with external line connectiosn at no additional charge, we recommend only using external line actuatuors when conditions require it.
